The advent and introduction of Ipad (or what some people tag mini-computers) to the market/ technology  has in many ways than one made communication and interaction, business and ways of life much easier and turned the world into a global village.

Gone are the days when a CPUs (Pentium and Celeron single core-central processing units or other CPUs) are the only available devices for use in our day-to-day lives. Today we have the Mac books, laptops and Ipad tablets of this world. 

These devices are handy,easy to operate and trendy and serve the same purposes-and more-as would the ‘traditional’ computers.

Brief history of the Ipad

The first version of Ipad was introduced and launched into the market in 2010 by Apple Inc. Though the first Ipad had it limitations like every other flagship product, there have since  been six other versions of the Ipad each with unique features in form of Aluminum Alloy,7-colors Backlit, key board case etc.

Notably amongst these is the Ipad Pro 10.5(2017) which runs on iOS 10 and an upgrade of the 9.7 version released in 2016.

Till date, the Ipad brand has sold over 270 million units worldwide second to Android operating phones.

The Ipad Pro 10.5 is an improvement of the previously released 9.7.It comes with several advanced displays, iPad pro keyboard case, 7 Colors Backlit (adjustable with a film-thin display), Ultra Slim(which makes it easy to hold and fits in) , Aluminum Alloy , 130° Folio Back Hard Cover as well as several other features for enhanced productivity.

This product comes in silver, grey and gold colours, faster chip and more storage capacity compared to the other Ipad versions released earlier.

Comparison between 10.5 and 9.7

The first most noticeable difference between the two versions is the size. While the 10.5 is 9.8* 6.8*0.24 in size, the 9.7 version is 9.45*6.67*0.24.the 10.5 also uses A10x fusion processors while the 9.7 uses A9x processors.

Ipad Pro 10.5 has a storage capacity of 512GB while the 9.7 version has a capacity of 256 GB

It is interestingly noteworthy that the Pro 10.5 could sell about 9 million units from the launch date of June-December 2017.
